About Us

Background

MY PLACE Early Learning Center was established in June 2009 in response to the direct personal experiences of the founders of the company when sourcing childcare services for their own children. They had the growing realization that existing provision was out of step with the complex and demanding needs of family life today.

MY PLACE Early Learning Center has a clear vision to deliver a much-needed step-change in the provision of childcare services and has put in place an experienced management team to deliver this vision.

Since its incorporation, considerable time has been spent on listening to parents about their needs, wants and wishes for their children, and their frustrations with what is generally available today. We have also listened carefully and researched widely to understand what childcare professionals and the regulatory bodies are saying concerning best practice in childcare.

MY PLACE Early Learning Center is a direct response to this, a provision that takes into account the needs of both parents and children through the delivery of a comprehensive range of child and parent-centric services.


For children, this is reflected in quality care, building design, quality furniture and resources and fantastic outdoor play, all within an environment of best practice.

For parents, it means an environment that takes into account their family needs and working day commitments by providing a range of extended support services.

Vivian leads the team at MY PLACE Early Learning Center and brings an extensive background in Childcare management. As a professional working mother with 3 children, Vivian is acutely aware of the challenges that face parents today in all aspects of family life, a fact that led her to create MY PLACE Early Learning Center.
